This is a unique website with a unique purpose. Its aim is to create an interactive platform for which to raise £10,000 for Action aid. It will combine the use of technology, art and people who are acting to help those that are less fortunate than ourselves.
What I am planning to do is to create a photo mosaic of the bollocks to poverty logo. This will consist of 5000 photos that you send in. A single photo will cost £2 and can be of anything you like (no porn & adverts). When I have 5000 photos they will be re-arranged to spell out the words bollocks to poverty. Your faces will forever be associated with the simple message of Action Aid – bollocks to poverty. Not only that but you will have helped change people’s lives forever. £10,000 can have serious live changing effects to those less fortunate. Get involved!
This amount of money can change lives forever, here are some examples of what £10,000 can do:
£10,000 could provide a borehole for two schools, providing a clean and safe water supply in Malawi.
£10,000 would pay for a woman’s empowerment programme in Nepal, which focuses on domestic violence, community support mechanism, awareness of anti-trafficking and seeking alternative income to stop trafficking of children.

I have been fortunate enough to get professional help with this mosaic by a company called Zumyn who make personalised photo mosaics. This company is helping me set up the mosaic professionally and also offers prints if you wish to display on the mosaic at home or anything.
